About

My name is Chantel Feola. A 5’2’’ woman with a talkative personality – no seriously my parents had a shirt made that said: “Help I started talking and I can’t shut up.” Keep in my mind this was a shirt that was made for 3-year old whose biggest goal was to get anyone and everyone to listen to her. Mind you that little girl hasn’t changed much considering I still find the Disney Channel shows hilarious.

From New York to Boston to Los Angeles I’m always looking for a new adventure.  I dream of doing artist representation/management.  Just like everyone else, I need to find my place and I believe that this blog is my starting point.  According to the Feynman Technique, the best way to learn something is to write it down in simple terms so you can explain it to others. That is exactly what this blog is, a place for me to share my thoughts on information that I have learned, thoughts on the inner workings of the entertainment industry, and a place to discover new dance, music, film, and travel insights.

After six years of schooling, and earning a Bachelors degree in Dance (Minor in French) from College at Brockport and a Masters degree in Art Administration and Management at Boston University, I finally figured out what I wanted to do with my life. Now don’t get me wrong I went back and forth a billion times about what that actually was, but the one thing has always remanded the same was my love of art. Entertainment (dance, music, film, books…etc) is my true passion and has always been an outlet I could express myself no matter what the situation. Now being older, my goal is to understand not only the artistic side and non-profit industry but to also branch out to the for-profit side of the industry. For eight years, I worked primarily in the non-profit entertainment sector and have been a dance educator for over ten years.  Now I have about 3 years of the for-profit sector of the industry under my belt and am understanding the entertainment and art industry as a whole.  My next adventure will be to tackle law school.

I look forward to you taking this journey with me, and continue to ask yourself that one question – What legacy do you want to leave behind?
